Supported by the Public Engagement in Health Policy Project Fellowship through McMaster University, the Partners for Better Care Council has received a grant to run a community engagement event on mitigating the health effects of climate change in West Toronto.
The purpose of this event will be to issue a challenge to community members to generate ideas, pitch those ideas to community stakeholders, and implement the ideas with community partners in West Toronto.
The first step: defining the challenge. This survey will ask you to reflect on the health challenges related to climate change (i.e. extreme heat, poor air quality) and what should be prioritized in the challenge issues to participants.
